From Gelato to Software: My Journey into Tech

When I look back, I never imagined I would be working around technology. My start was very simple, working in a gelato shop, then later supporting executives in a Korean software company. At that time, I just tried to do my best in each role, not thinking it would connect to a bigger journey. But now I see how every step taught me something important.

In the gelato shop, I learned details matter. It is not only the flavor. How you scoop, how you smile, how you hand it to someone—these small things change the whole feeling. Later in business, I felt the same. Writing contracts, preparing for meetings, sending a follow-up—these actions build trust, and trust is everything.

Growing up and working in Korea also shaped my view. Here tradition and fast innovation live together every day. It shows me that progress is not only about speed. Patience, respect, and consistency matter too. This balance is what gives me confidence as I learn more about AI and software.

For me, technology is not only numbers or code. It is about people—what makes them trust, what makes them feel understood. Just like gelato is more than taste, technology is more than systems. The care behind it is what makes it meaningful.
